Laurin Herlt has been involved in an innovative EU research project, the IKS-Project, a semantic open source platform for CMS providers. The IKS-Project covers 4 years and is EU sponsored. The project aims at bringing European CMS/KMS providers to the leading edge of innovation in knowledge technologies, for the benefit of all users.
The development team of Gentics managed by Laurin Herlt has been working on the realisation of a new texteditor for Gentics Content.Node for some time now. The editor replaces the current Live Editor, and is now compatible with all modern browsers. The product management of Gentics will soon present the usability concept of the editor. Some basic technological background information on the new texteditor and its development.
